The Scholarship

The foundation created our scholarship to help children who have lost a parent to lung cancer.  John handed the torch to his family and with his giving nature in mind, the foundation offers this scholarship.  While most non-profit organizations focus on research, we are focusing on education.  Lung cancer remains woefully underfunded compared to other cancers.  If we want to change this trend, we need to reverse the stigma associated with this disease.  We believe that starts with education.  Our first step in educating is through our scholarship program.
